Join us on November 19th from 6:30-8:00pm and come learn about the power of the subconscious mind and the dangers of the lies we tell ourselves that keep us playing small.
This will be an interactive workshop where we will delve into limiting beliefs and the mindset shifts necessary to stop playing it safe, lean into fear and create lasting impact.
Workshop will be lead by Audrey LaMere, CPC, ELI-MP. Audrey is a certified professional coach and energy leadership master practitioner. She is a proud wife and mother, corporate leader, recovering striver, connector, passion curator and Jesus follower. After spending decades defining her life by the amount of money she made, things she crossed off her to-do list and the achievements she accomplished, she found herself constantly exhausted and frankly disappointed. What was it all for? In a world obsessed with “more”, she was caught in the rat race chasing a version of success she had never even defined on her own. Thankfully, she finally awoke and decided to design the life she was created for and had always dreamed of living. Now, she defines her success in her ability to make a difference in the lives of others. Audrey helps others realize how they were uniquely wired for greatness and design a life that allows them to do what sets their soul on fire.

You've been dying to learn macrame and now is your chance to create a beautiful, textured wall hanging alongside a professional artist in a lovely, neighborhood shop! Join us on Thursday, Nov 8th from 6-8pm.
We will begin with intros and wine. Next, Amy will teach you several knot techniques and help you practice and perfect each one. Using those knot designs, you will create your very own macrame design. She will help guide you with designing, knotting and the overall look of your piece. Once your design is complete, you will trim and fray the ends. Everyone will complete their unique wall hanging during class so it is ready to hang the minute you get home! Your finished piece is generously sized at approximately 1 foot wide by 3-4 feet long. This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting a fun, creative experience where you leave with a completed craft. Grab a friend and join the group!

Mark your calendars and join us for an evening of candle-making fun. Thursday, Sept 20th from 6:30-8:30. To purchase your ticket and for all the info head to:https://dabble.co/chicago/candle-making/classes/candles-cocktails-at-shop-1021-with-jess-snively
Transform your favorite mug into an adorable soy wax candle in an interactive candle-making class. The class, led by Chicago candle-maker Jessica Snively, creator of Milton and Margie’s Soy Wax Candles, teaches you everything you need to know to make a soy wax candle in a reused or vintage container.
She’s poured candles in nearly everything that can be described as a “container”—quirkier finds have included a glass cowboy boot, vintage egg cup, honey bear jar, and mug that says “He ain’t heavy, he’s my brother”—so feel free to go on a thrift-shopping spree before class.
Throughout the process, you’ll create your own signature fragrance from a blend of scented soy-based oils. I’ll supply a bunch of eclectic oils with options from floral (e.g., Lavender and Juniper) to natural (e.g., Cedar and Eucalyptus) and sweet (e.g., Buttercream and Fudge Brownie) to rugged (e.g., Leather).
All the supplies are provided, including wax and fragrance oils. You can bring your own container or purchase one on-site. You’ll get 1 lb. of wax, and depending on the size of your container(s), you’ll leave with 1–2 completed candles. (For reference, 16 oz. of wax will fill a container approximately the size of a standard can of veggies.)
Mark your calendars!!! Wednesday, June 27th 6:30-8:30pm our first ever Tea Mixology Workshop!
It’s summer and you are ready to enjoy the fantastic weather and taste some delicious cocktails.
We will learn three different kinds of cocktails, including methods for steeping tea that work best with cocktails.
Every student will leave with a takeaway recipe card, tea samples to make their own tea at home and endorphins on high.
What to bring: Your good vibes! A phone because you’ll want to snap pics of your cocktails. A full belly because there is no bigger party pooper than someone who can’t handle a cocktail. Maybe that apron that you never wear but you want a picture in. Bring whatever you want that’s going to make this workshop fun for you.
What you can expect: Make new friends. Learn how to use teas as an addition your mixology repertoire. Taste some quality wine. Tips and tools of the trade. How to formulate your own recipes.
Olé imports will provide wine for us.

Join us for our very first soap making workshop on Sunday, June 24th 4:30-6:30!
This is a great workshop for anyone who wants to better understand how soap is made using the cold-process method (from scratch), and learn what makes all natural products different from most commercial brands.
You will learn the art and science of soap making and leave with the ability to make your own soaps at home. Each student will choose a scent, or create their own custom blend, and make approximately one pound of soap to take.
Safety tips, as well as a beginner's soap recipe, will be provided.
Soaps take about four weeks to 'cure' so plan accordingly.
Small groups can offer a much more personal experience and are perfect for those just beginning to learn about soap making. The aim is to make students feel comfortable and questions are encouraged.
What to Bring
Each student will need to bring a towel & a paper/plastic/tote bag from home to take take soap in. The towel will cushion and insulate the soap on your way home and overnight.
Wear comfortable clothes you wouldn't mind getting dirty!
I will provide all materials including aprons, goggles & gloves. Just bring a towel & bag from home!
