Mark your calendars! Thursday, January 31st from 7-9pm, we will be hosting the talented Leelee of Leelees Garden for a BYOB Floral Design Basics Workshop
Join us to learn how to care for and arrange flowers! This is our Floral 101 class. We'll focus on making everyday arrangements. You will walk away with your own unique design to enjoy all week long.
At this workshop, you will learn everything you need to know to turn ordinary flowers from the supermarket (and a few special additions I'll bring) into eye-catching designs for your home. Leelee will show you how to pick a good combination of flowers and foliage, give you insight into the latest trends like using metals, creating a loose aesthetic, or foraging, helpful tips for how to care for and arrange fresh flowers, and work with you one-on-one to make sure you take home something you love.
All flowers, greens, container and tools will be provided. Photo samples from past classes and also Leelee's recent floral work.

Maybe you've tried a paint and sip class, but probably not a paint and sip class where your painting is actually alive!
Join us Sunday, January 13th from 3-5pm as we host Leelee from Leelee's Garden for a unique afternoon of plant “painting." In this pop-up workshop, you will learn how to collage with moss, bark, air plants and other natural ingredients to make a framed plant “painting” that can hang on a wall or sit on a desk. Your new moss art piece is sure to start conversations and remind you of nature every day even as we move into fall and winter.
You will have the option to create a living vertical garden by adding air plants or stick with preserved materials if you don’t want to maintain a garden. We will provide all materials, instruction and one-on-one help throughout the workshop. Bring a friend, a date, or come solo. You're welcome to BYOB.
Come create your own living work of art!
All materials included.

First workshop of 2019 and it's a brand new one for us! Join us on Friday, Jan 11 from 6:30-8:30 as we host Ashley in an intro to crochet workshop!
This class will give you the confidence to pick up a hook and complete a simple crochet project. First, Ashley will walk you through making a foundation chain and when you feel comfortable you will move on to the granny square pattern where you will learn different stitches and their abbreviations.
She will bring in many examples of her work to help inspire any ideas that you have been wanting to bring to life. This is a BYOB event!
You will learn:
-how to hold a crochet hook and your working yarn
-how to crochet a foundation chain
-how to make a slip stitch, chain stitch and double crochet stitch
-complete 3-4 rows of the granny square pattern
Feel free to bring in patterns of things you would like to make and she can offer advice to get that project started as well.
